Cost Reduction Reports

Cost Reduction Reports play a large role in keeping shopping cart fleet and other rolling equipment management expenses low. These reports are created by our service technicians when they perform maintenance, repair, lubrication and cleaning services on shopping carts, Repairing carts saves on replacement costsmaterial handling and rolling stock equipment.

Our technicians record replacement parts used and labor performed during service. If the quantity of repairs on any specific piece of equipment or multiple pieces of equipment appears to be abnormal, or covered by the manufacturer's warranty, they take digital pictures and collect data in support of their findings.  Using their laptops, our field staff uploads The Cost Reduction Reports and pictures to our interactive, hosted software application called eView®.  The reports, data and images are viewed online and made available to our clients.

Our FacilityConnect™ division also creates Cost Reduction Reports on behalf of our customers that operate geographically dispersed store locations.

Before eView®, most of our clients stored facility and equipment photographs on various computers at multiple locations. The process of retrieving them (and any corresponding notes or reports) was frustrating and inefficient.  Now, management personnel use eView's robust web browser to quickly and easily locate and sort pictures and data. 

Our clients use the data and pictures in eView® to document the condition of their equipment/facilities, and to support capital improvement plans, budgeting, and general maintenance recordkeeping. It is not uncommon for our clients to have tens of thousands of pictures hosted in our data base nor is it uncommon for them to retrieve the exact picture they need in a matter of seconds!
