We plan and schedule shopping cart preventative maintenance and inspections at regular intervals to reduce the amount of money our customers spend on cart replacement. We understand the intricacies of maintaining shopping cart and rolling stock equipment fleets. As a result, aligning frames and fixing wobbling and broken shopping cart wheels and casters is an integral component of our service programs. They inspect and examine cart wheels while checking for rust, tread chips, tread separation, wheel bearing damage and excessive dirt. Using stocked parts, they replace damaged, worn out, and rusted wheels and casters with new ones.
As a member of The Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM), we focus on providing timely, regularly scheduled maintenance to retail store operators on shopping and utility carts, compactors, scissor lifts, rolling ladders, pallet jacks and other backroom equipment. We work closely with store management to ensure their shopping carts and backroom equipment are working properly. Our trained field specialists work on location to provide regularly scheduled expert maintenance on new, used, and reconditioned shopping carts made from plastic and wire, as well as shopping cart containment and retention/prevention systems.
We have decades of experience in fixing, repairing, maintaining, cleaning and servicing retail rolling stock equipment and shopping carts. Our repair crews take inventory of the shopping carts at every visit, checking the interior and exterior of the store, to make sure all are accounted for and serviced. They enter this data into their laptop computers as soon as they finish service, so that reports can be generated to the customer. Our technicians are mechanical and come prepared with all the tools and parts required to service shopping carts and rolling stock equipment. They record replacement parts used during service. If an inordinate amount of shopping carts are damaged, out of order or have the same type of equipment failure, mechanical problem or broken parts, they prepare cost reduction and/or warranty reports and take pictures to support their findings.
Our shopping cart repairmen talk with the store managers when a service assignment is completed. The store manager reviews the service work report to see what repair and maintenance work was performed, and how many replacement wheels, casters, handles, seat flaps, child safety belts and other shopping cart replacement parts were used during the process. The service work report also includes the model number, brand or manufacturer of the carts as well as an inventory of the entire fleet on site and serviced. Our service technician discusses excessive problems with the store manager who is also encouraged to inspect and assess our work. The assessment information is entered into a digital report on the technician's laptop computer for later reference by our management staff and the customer's management personnel. The work report is uploaded to our proprietary online picture and data management software application called eView®.

We schedule our service visits monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly to meet the specific frequencies requested by our retail store clients.
